Amazing Stories of Ingenuity

I was scrolling through fan pages today and I noticed this posting on Krafty Kuts' fan page. I have never heard of Krafty Kuts, but one of my Facebook friends had posted a photo on his Timeline from Krafty Kuts' fan page. This song is so ingenious! Imagine what our kids are going to be able to do in the coming age! Kraft Kuts took the number of Pi and set it to music. Incredible!

I also came across the name of Ada Lovelace on another friend;s Facebook Timeline. There was a story about this "prophet of the computer age," as the article in Cosmos Magazine named her. A very advanced student of mathematics, she published a 20,000 page article in 1843 about a mechanical calculator which was the forerunner of our modern day computer! Charles Babbage designed the calculator. Apparently, she came from a very wealthy family and had a long time friendship with Charles Babbage. Ada Lovelace tried to give him the money to finance it, but for some unknown reason, he rejected it.
We are living in a very exciting digital age, and I look forward to hearing more about the discoveries and new technology being developed.
